Using Zmashers

Terms of Service

Effective and last updated: August 10, 2026

These Terms explain the rules for players, venue owners, bookings, payments, cancellations, reschedules, reviews, and payouts on Zmashers. This page is public and does not require an account.

For players

Discover courts, check live availability, book timeslots, pay by QR Ph or at participating venues, and manage eligible cancellations and reschedules.

For venue owners

Publish court information, rates, schedules, payment options, maintenance periods, booking updates, and payout details.

For secure access

Create an account by verified email or use Google sign-in for authentication with your basic profile information.

1. Acceptance of these Terms

These Terms of Service govern your access to and use of Zmashers at zmashers.com. By creating an account, signing in with Google, listing a venue, making a booking, or otherwise using an account feature, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

2. What Zmashers provides

Zmashers is an online marketplace and booking platform that connects players with independently operated sports venues. Zmashers provides discovery, availability, reservation, payment, notification, review, rescheduling, and venue-management tools. Venue owners—not Zmashers—operate the physical facilities and are responsible for court access, staffing, safety, rules, and the accuracy of their listings.

3. Accounts and Google sign-in

  • You must provide accurate information, select the correct player or venue-owner role, and keep your account secure.
  • Email registrations require verification. Google sign-in uses your Google account identifier, verified email address, name, and profile photo to authenticate and create or locate your Zmashers account.
  • You may not share accounts, impersonate another person or business, create accounts to evade restrictions, or use another person’s payment or payout information without permission.
  • If you are not legally able to enter into these Terms yourself, you may use Zmashers only with the involvement and consent of a parent or legal guardian.

4. Court availability and bookings

  • Venue details, schedules, amenities, rules, court conditions, and prices are supplied or configured by venue owners. Peak and regular rates may differ by timeslot.
  • Availability can change while you browse. A timeslot is reserved only after Zmashers displays a successful reservation or payment confirmation. Conflicting or unavailable selections may be rejected.
  • New bookings close 15 minutes before the scheduled start. A single reservation may include up to 12 selected timeslots, subject to availability and venue configuration.
  • You are responsible for checking the venue, court, date, timeslots, price, payment method, and venue rules before confirming.

5. Payments and booking confirmation

QR Ph

QR Ph checkout is processed by PayMongo in a separate checkout flow. Zmashers temporarily holds the selected timeslots for up to 10 minutes while payment is pending. A QR booking is confirmed only after the payment provider reports a successful payment and Zmashers can match it to the held booking details. An opened, abandoned, failed, expired, or cancelled checkout does not create a paid reservation.

Pay at venue

Pay at venue is available only when enabled by the venue owner. It requires a verified email and successful security checks. The player must pay the amount shown directly at the venue, and the owner is responsible for collecting it and marking the reservation completed. A pending reservation may be marked unpaid when completion is not recorded within the platform’s operational window after its scheduled start.

6. Cancellations, refunds, and reschedules

  • The cancellation control is available only for eligible pending or confirmed reservations and only until one hour before the scheduled start. A multi-timeslot reservation is cancelled as one booking group.
  • Paid QR bookings cannot currently be cancelled by the player through the standard cancellation control. Do not assume that cancelling or closing a checkout page cancels a payment already completed.
  • If QR payment is received but the held booking can no longer be fulfilled or safely matched, Zmashers may submit an automatic refund through PayMongo. Refund completion and timing depend on PayMongo and the player’s bank or e-wallet provider.
  • For an interrupted paid QR booking, a venue owner may offer a one-time reschedule credit instead of a cash or QR refund. The offer remains available for up to 30 days, applies only at the same venue, requires the same number of timeslots, and may be used only for an equal- or lower-priced replacement. Unused value is not paid out as cash.
  • Venue-specific policies displayed in a listing may impose additional conduct or facility rules, but they cannot override rights that cannot legally be waived.

7. Pay-at-venue reliability controls

To protect venue schedules, Zmashers may temporarily pause pay-at-venue booking after excessive attempts or when an account has accumulated five or more recently cancelled or unpaid pay-at-venue timeslots within the preceding seven days. Security challenges, account, network, and timeslot rate limits also apply. A restricted player may use an available QR payment option or contact support if the restriction appears incorrect. Creating another account to avoid a restriction is prohibited.

8. Venue-owner obligations and payouts

  • Owners must have authority to list and operate each venue and must provide accurate location, photos, courts, amenities, schedules, prices, rules, and payment information.
  • Owners must honor valid reservations, keep availability and maintenance status current, provide a reasonably safe and lawful facility, collect pay-at-venue charges accurately, and update booking outcomes honestly.
  • Courts with bookings or active payment holds cannot be removed, and blocked or exclusive periods cannot conflict with active reservations.
  • Eligible settled QR payments become available for owner payout after refunds and prior allocations. Zmashers currently deducts a 3% platform fee. The current minimum net payout request is PHP 1,000, and only one pending or processing payout request may exist at a time.
  • Owners are responsible for accurate payout account details and for all taxes, permits, licenses, insurance, consumer obligations, and legal requirements related to their venue and earnings.

9. Reviews and user content

A player may review a court only after a completed booking. Reviews must be based on genuine experience, use a rating from 0.5 to 5 in 0.5-point increments, and include a comment of no more than 500 characters. By submitting venue information, photos, descriptions, or reviews, you grant Zmashers a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, reproduce, format, and display that content as needed to operate and promote the service. You retain ownership of your content and confirm that you have the right to submit it. We may remove unlawful, misleading, abusive, infringing, or irrelevant content.

10. Prohibited conduct

  • Making fraudulent bookings, payments, reviews, refund claims, or payout requests.
  • Scraping, probing, disrupting, overloading, or bypassing security and rate limits.
  • Uploading malware or content that is illegal, deceptive, abusive, or infringes others’ rights.
  • Manipulating availability, prices, payment status, booking status, reviews, or location information.
  • Using Zmashers in violation of applicable law or third-party rights.

11. Third-party services

Zmashers relies on third-party services for functions such as Google authentication, PayMongo payments and transfers, email delivery, maps and location search, security checks, and image hosting. Your use of those functions may also be governed by the provider’s terms and privacy practices. We are not responsible for outages, delays, reversals, or decisions controlled solely by those providers.

12. Suspension, changes, and termination

We may restrict features, suspend an account or listing, withhold a disputed payout, remove content, or terminate access when reasonably necessary to investigate fraud, enforce these Terms, protect users or venues, comply with law, or secure the service. We may modify or discontinue features and may update prices, fees, limits, or operational rules. Changes will apply prospectively after being posted or otherwise communicated as required. Obligations concerning completed transactions, intellectual property, disputes, and liability survive termination.

13. Disclaimers and limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, Zmashers is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. We do not guarantee uninterrupted access, that every listing is error-free, or that a venue will meet every user’s expectations. Venue owners are responsible for their facilities and services. To the extent permitted by law, Zmashers will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, lost profits, lost data, personal disputes between users and owners, or events outside our reasonable control. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability or consumer rights that cannot legally be excluded.

14. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of the Philippines, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Before filing a claim, you agree to contact us and attempt in good faith to resolve the issue. Courts with proper jurisdiction in the Philippines will handle disputes that cannot be resolved informally, subject to any mandatory consumer rights or venue required by law.
